Thought I’d upload a wee snippet of my Batman back piece.
I got it done in Christchurch, New Zealand at a studio named City of Ink, the artist was Josh, who is actually a real chilled out guy!
The entire idea is to incorporate the look of the Dark Night but to have a comic book idea.
The meaning is actually a lot more relateable to my faith (Christianity). Picture Batman as God and the Devil being the Joker. Since becoming a Christian life wasn’t all rainbows and lollypops, in fact it was incredibly difficult in parts (quitting drugs etc). The meaning is a declaration that the Devil has no place because God pretty much punched him in the face and set me free to live out the life I’m called to live.
Also, it’s simply an insanely cool tattoo haha :)
